Eagles get United States Visa



The American Embassy has issued entry visas into the US to a total of 22 players and eight officials of the national football team, Super Eagles for the Green Bowl Soccer Tournament taking place in Dallas, Texas this month end.

Acting General Secretary to the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Musa Amadu said the Federation was enamoured by the co-operation of the Embassy and look forward to the tournament expected to further help Coach Samson Siasia’s re-building process.


Organizers say the competition will now take place February 26-27 in Texas and will now involve four countries namely, Nigeria, Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama.


The Nigeria Football Federation also said the contingent to the tournament will travel from Lagos aboard Delta Airline flight on the night of Wednesday, February 23.
