28 - year - old midfielder Martins Ekwueme on Thursday morning started training with Polish second - tier side GKS Tychy, writes fakt.pl.
Ekwueme impressed the technical bench of Orduspor this summer and was set to be offered a contract only for the Turkish club to discover that he is not a forward.
He has spent the last ten years in Poland, representing Polonia Warsaw, Wisła Kraków, Legia Warsaw, Zagłębie Lubin and Zawisza Bydgoszcz.
If Martins Ekwueme proves his fitness to manager Tomasz Fornalik, he would be offered a contract.
GKS Tychy defeated Bogdanka Łęczna 2 - 0 in their opening match of the 2013 - 2014 season.
